# Restore settings

Restore your PC's protection after you finish.

1. Run DControl as administrator and click **Enable**.
2. Turn on Real-time protection, Cloud-delivered protection, Automatic sample submission, and Tamper Protection.
3. Turn on Microsoft Defender Firewall for the active network profile.
4. Turn on reputation-based protection and SmartScreen.
5. Turn on **Memory integrity** if it was enabled before setup, then restart your PC.
6. Re-enable Game Bar or required overlays only if you need them.

## Reinstall Xbox Game Bar

Open Microsoft Store, search for **Xbox Game Bar**, and install it again.

## Final security check

Open **Windows Security**. Its home page should have no red warnings. Then run a quick virus scan.
